1. BUSINESS REGISTRATION

Vietnam - Canada Consulting Engineering Company Ltd is an independently accounting business enterprise. Enterprise Registration Certificate No. 0101591824 was issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment, with the 7th amendment dated 08/01/2025 (re-registration of the enterprise and investment project under Investment Licence No. 260/GP/HN dated 08/12/2004 issued by the Hanoi People’s Committee). The company has legal standing to operate in the following fields:

Providing investment and construction consultancy services and participating in tenders for such services on domestic and overseas projects, including:

+ Project preparation consultancy and construction surveys;

+ Construction design consultancy;

+ Construction materials testing;

+ Construction supervision consultancy;

+ Construction planning consultancy;

+ Preparation of construction investment reports;

+ Construction investment project management consultancy;

+ Electrical and electromechanical design for construction works;

+ Preparation and review of payment and final investment settlement documentation, and adjustment of construction investment values following completion, acceptance and handover for use;

+ Project appraisal consultancy and construction quality inspection;

+ Preparation of bidding documents and evaluation of bids for construction works;

+ Preparation of environmental impact assessment reports.

- Construction of civil, industrial, transport, irrigation and technical infrastructure works, urban areas, industrial parks, water supply and drainage facilities, and other civil construction works.

2. ELECTRICITY ACTIVITY LICENCE

 Under Electricity Activity Licence No. 148/GP-ĐTĐL issued by the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade, on 27/12/2022, the company is authorised to operate in the following fields:
+ Design consultancy and supervision for hydropower plants with installed capacity up to 100 MW.

 + Design consultancy and supervision for transmission lines and substations with voltage levels up to 220 kV.

+ Design consultancy and supervision for wind power plants with installed capacity up to 100 MW.

+ Design consultancy and supervision for solar power plants with installed capacity up to 300 MW.

3. OVERVIEW OF COMPANY CAPABILITIES

From its establishment, the company was entrusted by Sông Đà Corporation to prepare the technical design and shop drawings for Bình Điền Hydropower Project, with consultancy services valued at USD 1,100,000. At that time, comparable work in Vietnam required foreign consultants. The project was completed and began generating electricity in mid-2009.

Alongside Bình Điền, over more than 20 years of development, the company has provided planning consultancy, feasibility studies, technical design, shop drawings and supervision consultancy for numerous hydropower, solar power and Pumped Storage Hydropower projects in Vietnam and overseas.

Many projects have entered operation, delivering substantial benefits to their owners, contributing to state revenues and supporting national energy security. Representative operating projects for which the company provided design consultancy and supervision are listed in the following table:

In international cooperation, the company has worked with Artelia (France) on projects including Nậm Phak Hydropower (N = 168 MW in Laos); Hatta Pumped Storage Hydropower (N = 250 MW in the UAE); Nestor Pumped Storage Hydropower (N = 2200 MW in Saudi Arabia); Ruzizi III Hydropower (N = 206 MW in Rwanda, Africa); St Paul 2 Hydropower (N = 112 MW in Liberia, Africa); and others.
