Thanh Hóa 1 Solar Power Plant (Nghi Sơn Town, Thanh Hóa Province) is developed by Công ty CP Tập đoàn năng lượng MT Việt Nam and is at the investment preparation stage. VCE completed the construction planning documentation and feasibility study report documentation in 2022.
The plant has a capacity of 160 MWp and average annual generation of 188.1 million kWh. The surveyed project area is approximately 192 ha.
The project uses a total of 32,508 PV modules: 20,844 single-sided, 650 Wp backsheet monocrystalline modules on fixed mounting structures (Solar Fix), and 11,664 bifacial polycrystalline modules described as 'Bifacial dual glass monocrystalline', rated at 650 Wp, on tracking structures (Solar Tracker).
The project includes 04 transformers rated at 22/110 kV and 40 MVA each. It is connected by a loop-in/loop-out arrangement to 02 circuits of the 110 kV line between the 220 kV Nghi Sơn and 220 kV Thanh Hóa substations, with a connection length of approximately 0.5 km.
