Đak Lô 2 Hydropower Project (Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province) is a diversion-type hydropower plant on the Đak Lô Stream, designed directly by VCE. The project was completed and began generating electricity in 2019.
The reservoir has a storage capacity of approximately 56,000 m³, impounded by a concrete gravity dam approximately 20 m high, with a 55 m wide overflow spillway.
The water conveyance system on the left bank of the dam comprises an intake structure; a headrace channel with B × H = 2.8 × 3.0 m and a length of 3099.5 m; a forebay 7.6 m wide and 40 m long; and a penstock 2.5 m in diameter and 99.76 m long.
The powerhouse contains 02 horizontal-shaft Francis turbine units, with a total installed capacity of 5.5 MW and average annual generation of 18.4 million kWh. Rated head: Htt = 55.9 m; rated discharge through the generating units: Qmax = 12.13 m³/s.
