Sông Lô 5 Hydropower Project (Bắc Quang District, Hà Giang Province) is a dam-integrated hydropower plant on the Lô River, designed directly by VCE. The source article states that construction is under way.
The reservoir has a storage capacity of approximately 8.42 million m³, impounded by a concrete gravity dam in the river channel approximately 31.5 m high. The spillway has 06 bays fitted with flat gates, each 15 m wide.
The powerhouse contains 03 bulb turbine units (Capsule), with a total installed capacity of 29.7 MW and average annual generation of 98 million kWh. Rated head: Htt = 8.47 m; rated discharge through the generating units: Qmax = 519.23 m³/s.
